We will continue to honor the memory of John Michael with the forming of the John Michael Morrison Memorial Scholarship. Thanks to the generosity of family, friends, and sponsors, we will award multiple $1000.00 Scholarships and at least one $5000.00 Lighting Scholarship each year.

The scholarships will be awarded annually to high school seniors who share John Michael’s passion for the sport of running and choose to continue their education.  These scholarships are presented at High School Scholarship Programs each May.

Thanks to the huge success of their annual 5K, The Morrison Family has added a $5,000 LEGACY Scholarship awarded to a past recipient who is running Cross Country/Track on a collegiate level and a $3,000 ENDURANCE Scholarship awarded to a past recipient who continues to “run their race” academically.  These two scholarships are presented at the annual 5K which is typically held in late June of every year.
